Love You Later is the brainchild of Nashville's Lexi Aviles. Lexi has been cranking out catchy indie pop melodies that have culminated with her most recent EP "How Many Nights Do You Dance With Tears in Your Eyes?”. Today’s episode is with my longtime friend, Calvin Lauber. Calvin is an engineer and producer at Young Avenue Sound, a recording studio in Memphis, TN. He is also the guitar player for the alt-rock band Pillow Talk who put out a fantastic record earlier this year on Animal Style Records. As you’ll be able to tell, Calvin and I go way back. We talk about our awkward teenage years, meeting while playing in our respective pop-punk bands (with respective embarrassing band names), and we also dig into the work he is doing now as an engineer and producer.
